Spoorthy Gowda

SPOORTHY GOWDA is a Doctoral Student at the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics Polish Academy of Sciences since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Associate at the Indian Institute of Science Education & Research Tirupati, where they focused on creating chromosome modifications in budding yeast. SPOORTHY GOWDA completed their BSMS in Biology at the Indian Institute of Science Education & Research Tirupati, where they also worked on their Master's thesis studying DNA break distribution on budding yeast chromosomes during meiosis. Additionally, they gained research experience as a Research Intern at the Indian Institute of Science in 2019 and 2018, acquiring basic skills in cloning, drosophila biology, and working in a research lab.
