Emma Lockley

Emma Lockley is an accomplished event and engagement manager with extensive experience in the healthcare and veterinary sectors. Currently serving as the Event Manager at the Institute of Biomedical Science since April 2025, Emma previously held the position of Engagement Manager at the Healthcare Communications Association from July 2023 to April 2025. From June 2007 to July 2023, Emma worked at the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in various roles, including Student & Graduate Engagement Manager, where a new position was developed to enhance connections with the veterinary student community, and Events Manager, responsible for creating a national events program for over 58,000 veterinary professionals. Earlier experience includes serving as the Practice Standards Manager and Senior Events Officer at RCVS and as an Information Officer at RICS from 2005 to June 2007. Emma holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Portsmouth.
