Mohamad Ekhlaque Ahmed, working as HOD Marketing has over 30 years of corporate experience in various multinational and local companies in senior marketing and corporation positions. Ekhlaque also has a vast experience of over 20 years in teaching and learning. Has traveled extensively all over the world. His areas of teaching are different marketing subjects including Marketing Strategy, Innovation, Sales Management, Distribution, Channel, etc., Ekhlaque has done his MBA from the Institute of Business Administration in the batch of 1981 and has also completed his Mphil from the College of Business Management. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. from the same institute. His research interests are Bottom of the Pyramid market in terms of strategy and challenges. Ekhlaque is also the founder Chairperson of GEAR Trust (Generating Employment Alternatives for Self Reliance) which is a Charitable Institution with the mission of facilitating self-employment for the underprivileged section of society. Another core purpose is to facilitate the higher education of the children of these families who miss these opportunities because of a lack of financial resources mainly. Social contribution to these two main factors with the help of international and local donors is continuing under the leadership of Ekhlaque for the last 12 years.
