Camilo Alvarez is the owner and director of Samson, which aims to explore diverse cultures and voices in contemporary art. Camilo also serves as a Commissioner at Boston Art Commission and Co-Chair at Institute of Contemporary Art Boston. Their previous roles include Gallery Manager at Exit Art and Program Associate at Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture. Alvarez holds a Master's degree in Museum Studies from Harvard University and a Bachelor's degree in Art History & Spanish from Skidmore College.
