Karin France

Karin France has extensive experience in institutional giving and development within the arts sector. Currently serving as the Director of Institutional Giving at the Institute of Contemporary Art Boston since 2011, Karin has held progressively responsible positions, including Associate Director and Government and Foundation Relations Manager. Prior experience includes a Graduate Assistant role in Special Collections at the University of Southern Maine and various positions at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, culminating as Manager of Institutional Development. Karin began their career at the American Federation of Arts as a Membership and Individual Giving Assistant. Educationally, Karin holds a BA in Art History and History from Bowdoin College and an MA in American and New England Studies from the University of Southern Maine.
