Priyan Pillay

Priyan Pillay is a highly accomplished South African qualified attorney with extensive experience in legal leadership positions. Currently serving as Vice President and Chief Compliance Counsel at Colgate-Palmolive since December 2015, Priyan has also held the role of Regional Legal Director for Sub-Saharan Africa, effectively managing legal operations across 52 countries. Recognised by The Legal 500’s General Counsel Powerlist 100: Africa 2015, Priyan's skills encompass strong drafting, negotiating, and analytical capabilities, honed during tenure at top business law firms and multinational companies such as Hill's Pet Nutrition and British American Tobacco. Academic credentials include an LLB/LLM from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
