Johanna Bowyer

Johanna Bowyer is the Lead Research Analyst for Australian Electricity at the Institute of Energy Economics and Financial Analysis. Johanna has previous experience working as an Associate at Kearney, a Senior Business Analyst at Kearney, and a Business Analyst at Kearney. Johanna also spent time as a Research Technician at CSIRO, where they focused on the impact of solar PV in LV distribution grids, and as a Solar PV Research Scholar at CSIRO, where they researched the impact of solar PV in electrical distribution networks by creating distribution network models, simulating electrical load flows and analyzing results. Johanna began their career as an Algorithms Development Engineer at Solar Analytics before taking on the role of Solar PV System Designer at Suntech. Johanna started their professional journey as an Intern Solar Engineer at Suntech.

Johanna Bowyer studied electrical and electronics engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid before completing an engineer's degree in photovoltaics at the University of New South Wales. Johanna began their career as a high school teacher at Gosford High School.
