Lev Kaytsner has worked in various roles in the field of information technology and event coordination. In 1999, they started as a Senior Systems & Network Administrator at the Institute of Food Technologists, where they later served as Manager of Information Systems from 2006 to 2013, and then as Director of Information Technology from 2013 onwards. In 1998, they also worked as a LAN Administrator at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Prior to their IT career, Kaytsner worked at The Freeman Company from 1989 to 1998, where they held positions such as Show Coordinator, Customer Services Representative, and Operations Manager.

Lev Kaytsner earned a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the Electro Mechanical College in Riga, Latvia, from 1980 to 1983.
