Kim Presow currently serves as the Shift Leader - Geohazard Analyst at GNS Science, contributing to the National Geohazard Monitoring Centre (GeoNet) since July 2018. In this role, Kim is part of a 24/7 team monitoring geohazards in New Zealand, providing advisory services related to tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanoes, and landslides. Prior experience includes a part-time customer service representative role at PGG Wrightson Ltd while pursuing a master's degree, and serving as an Operations Geologist and Technical Assistant at Senex Energy Limited, where responsibilities included structural mapping, well coordination, and data management. Additional experience with Nexen Inc. involved analyzing data for unconventional exploration, and earlier work as a dairy farmer provided foundational agricultural insights. Kim holds a Master's in Environmental Management, a Bachelor's in Business, and a BSc in Geography and Earth Sciences from Massey University.
