Richard Kellett

Richard Kellett is an experienced geophysicist and team leader currently serving as the Team Lead for the Environmental Processes and Modelling Team at GNS Science since February 2015. Kellett oversees a team focused on Antarctic Icesheet modelling, Carbon Cycle modelling, and Earth System Science. Previous roles include Senior Scientist with expertise in groundwater, seismic imaging, and landslide investigations, as well as Senior Geoscientist at New Zealand Energy Corp. Kellett has held senior positions at Sherritt International, Pioneer Natural Resources Company, and Komex International Ltd, and has conducted significant research at various universities including the University of Calgary and the University of New Brunswick. Kellett holds a Ph.D. in Geophysics from The Australian National University and a BSc in Geophysics from Victoria University of Wellington.
