Sarah Milicich is a Senior Geothermal Geologist at GNS Science, with extensive experience in geothermal fluid sampling, geochemical techniques, and fieldwork, including logging and sampling during drilling operations. Previously, Milicich completed a PhD at Victoria University of Wellington focused on the chronology, structure, and thermal history of the Kawerau Geothermal Field, utilizing U-Pb dating techniques and alteration studies to analyze hydrothermal systems. Earlier roles included serving as a research assistant at Paul Hartley Contractors, addressing eutrophication in Rotorua lakes, and multiple positions at the University of Waikato involving teaching assistance and research in energy resources and sedimentary mapping. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Geology from Victoria University of Wellington and an MSc (Hons) and BSc in Geology from the University of Waikato.
