Stuart Sanderson

Stuart Sanderson has extensive experience in laboratory management and operational oversight, currently serving as Manager of the New Zealand Geothermal Analytical Laboratory at GNS Science since May 2012, where responsibilities include planning, financial management, and ensuring quality analysis for customers. Prior roles include managerial positions at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and Livestock Improvement Corporation, along with section management at Hill Laboratories. Stuart also has a background in laboratory project support and service management at Works Infrastructure Ltd, and team leadership at ESR. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies from The University of Waikato and diplomas in Chemistry from Tshwane University of Technology.
