Vivek Rai

Vivek Rai is a Senior Investigator and Assistant Professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center since August 2023 and has served as Group Leader and Principal Investigator at the Institute of Life Sciences since July 2013. With expertise in drug discovery, tumor-associated macrophages, cancer immunology, diabetes, inflammatory diseases, and muscle biology, Vivek Rai has a robust research background. Previously, Vivek Rai held postdoctoral fellowships at NYU Langone Medical Center and Columbia University Medical Center. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Jawaharlal Nehru University and an M.Sc. in Microbiology from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology.
