Marisa Pelczar

Marisa Pelczar is a seasoned program analyst with extensive experience in research and evaluation within the educational sector. Since February 2016, Marisa has been managing research and data collection activities at the Institute of Museum and Library Services, notably overseeing the annual Public Libraries Survey and the biennial State Library Administrative Agency Survey. Prior to this role, Marisa served as a senior research associate at LMCI, contributing to the National Clearinghouse for English Language Acquisition, and at Synergy Enterprises, Inc., where Marisa led tasks for the Magnet Schools Assistance Program Technical Assistance Center. Marisa's earlier experience includes participation in the Program for International Student Assessment and roles at Vanderbilt University and World Learning. Marisa holds a Ph.D. in Education Policy from Vanderbilt University, an M.A. in Humanities and Social Thought from New York University, and a BA in Art History from the University of Virginia.
