Michael McWilliams

Michael McWilliams has extensive experience in the nuclear industry, currently serving as a Peer Review Team Leader at the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) since May 2000, leading teams of 25 professionals in both domestic and international peer reviews. McWilliams has also held roles such as Organizational Effectiveness Leader, participating in WANO international peer reviews in South Korea, Slovakia, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as leading teams to conduct visits at accredited nuclear training programs as an Accreditation Team Manager. Prior to INPO, Michael worked at James A. Fitzpatrick Nuclear Power Plant and ComEd in various significant positions including Assistant Department Manager of Operations and Senior Reactor Operator. McWilliams holds a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from Kennesaw State University.
