Robert F. Willard

Robert Willard serves as the President and CEO of the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations, a position held since April 2012, where this individual leads a self-regulatory body within the U.S. nuclear power sector. Prior to this role, Robert Willard commanded significant naval operations, including serving as Commander of the United States Pacific Command from April 2005 to April 2012, overseeing a vast area with more than 330,000 personnel and a sizeable fleet. Robert also held the position of Commander of the United States Pacific Fleet, which involved managing 125,000 personnel and a substantial naval inventory. Earlier in the career, Robert was Vice Chief of Naval Operations, responsible for a broad portfolio within the Pentagon and Navy, including the oversight of an $85 billion enterprise. Robert Willard holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics/Oceanography from the United States Naval Academy.
