Jan Petracek is the current Chief Executive Officer at iVigee, as well as the Director at the Institute of Pharmacovigilance. With a background in pharmacovigilance, Jan has extensive experience in the field, serving as a lecturer at DIA Pharmacovigilance Courses and holding positions such as CEO and EU QPPV at various companies. Jan is also a member of the ISoP Advisory Board and has been actively involved in developing the Global Pharmacovigilance Professional Certification program. With a strong educational background, including a MSc from Imperial College London and a MUDr. from Charles University, Jan is a dedicated professional driving innovation and sustainable solutions in the field of pharmacovigilance.

Institute of Pharmacovigilance is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organisation established in 2015 with a clear goal – to elevate the pharmacovigilance industry by competency and seniority certification. We work on developing: Career Framework Professional certification Competence Framework Required knowledge, skills and attitudes for each role and seniority. Professional Certification Testing Competence of candidates for a particular role and seniority based on ISoP standards of competence expectations for all pharmacovigilance positions in the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory authorities, service providers, and NGOs.
