Joshua Kizner

Joshua Kizner has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Joshua began their career in 2000 at the Institute of Reading Development, initially as a Teacher and later transitioning into roles such as Teacher Supervisor, Manager of Operations, and ultimately serving as the Director of Operations from 2009 to 2015.

In 2015, Kizner joined the Institute of Reading Development again, this time as the Director of Operations and Partner Relations. Joshua continued to excel in the organization, being promoted to Chief Operating Officer and Director of Partner Relations in 2016, and eventually assuming the role of Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Partnerships in 2019.

Kizner's dedication to education and community involvement is evident through their tenure on the Board of Directors for Credo High School, starting in 2023, and their prior service on the Board of Directors for Live Oak Charter School from 2014 to 2020.

Joshua Kizner earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Oberlin College in the years 1993 to 1997. Following this, they pursued further education at Louisiana State University from 1997 to 2000, where they achieved an ABD (All But Dissertation) in English.
