Ryan O'Leary has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ryan started their career as a Marketing Consultant at San Diego State University in 1998 and later became the Director of Client Services/Strategy at Digitaria from 1999 to 2003. Ryan then joined the Institute of Reading Development as the Marketing Director from 2004 to 2008. In 2008, Ryan founded MMAViking.com, a popular mixed martial arts website, and also worked as a Marketing & Web Consultant at TribeQuest AB during the same time. In 2009, they became a Senior SEO & SEM Consultant at Constant AB, where they developed strategies for leading Swedish brands. In 2013, they joined Campanja as the Head of People Operations & Communications, where they played a key role in building the team and developing search marketing advertising software. In 2015, Ryan joined the Institute of Reading Development again, this time as the Director of Marketing. Most recently, in 2018, they became the Owner & Chief Marketing Officer of Courts of the World, where they are partnering with FIBA to grow basketball globally. Throughout their career, Ryan has demonstrated expertise in marketing, communications, team building, and developing innovative advertising software.

Ryan O'Leary's education history begins in 1989 when they enrolled at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Ryan pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and graduated in 1994. In 1998, Ryan briefly attended the University of California, Berkeley to study Spanish.

In 1999, Ryan continued their education by earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from San Diego State University, specializing in Marketing.

In 2001 and 2002, Ryan attended UC San Diego for a year, focusing on Web Development.
