Adam Duckett

Adam Duckett has extensive experience in editorial roles within the engineering sector, currently serving as the Editor of The Chemical Engineer magazine at IChemE since 2005. In this role, Adam is responsible for commissioning, editing, and writing engaging content for a diverse engineering audience across print and online platforms. Previously, Adam held positions as Deputy Editor and Senior Reporter, focusing on news reporting and feature writing related to various sectors, including chemical, biochemical, energy, and pharmaceuticals. Adam began a career in journalism at Shires Magazine from 2004 to 2005, where responsibilities included copywriting and marketing features. Adam is an alumnus of the University of Portsmouth.
