Paola Lettieri Freng

Paola Lettieri FREng is a distinguished academic and engineering professional with extensive experience at UCL since January 2001, where roles include Vice President (Strategy), Pro-Provost (UCL East), Professor of Chemical Engineering, and Director of UCL East. Paola has also held positions such as Vice-Dean, Reader, and Senior Lecturer in Chemical Engineering, in addition to being a Research Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering. Involved with IChemE since 2007 as a Fellow and Chartered Engineer, Paola previously worked at BP from November 1995 to December 2000 as a Post Doctoral Research Assistant and Research Assistant. Educational qualifications include a Laurea in Mechanical Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from UCL.
