Shazia S. has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. In 1995, they started as a Solicitor and Partner for a small high street practice, specializing in Criminal Litigation. Shazia then worked as a Consultant Compliance Manager at GT Stewart Solicitors & Advocates, where they successfully implemented Lexcel accreditation. In 2011, they founded their own company, Shazia Saleem - Audit & Consultancy Services, where they provided legal consulting and assessment services. Shazia also worked as a Chief Risk Officer for the Institution of Mechanical Engineers before joining the Chartered College of Teaching as a Consultant in 2020. Shazia S. has extensive experience in risk management, quality assurance, and legal compliance.

Moreover, they gained expertise as a Specialist Quality Mark Assessor through The Legal Aid Agency. Shazia also obtained certifications as an ISO 27001:2013 Lead Auditor in Information Security Management Standard and an ISO 9001:2008 & 2015 Lead Auditor in Quality Management Systems, both accredited by UKAS. Furthermore, they became a Lexcel Assessor & Consultant through The Law Society and a Practitioner of the Chartered Quality Institute, certified by The Chartered Quality Institute.
