Karthik Ramakrishnan

Karthik Ramakrishnan joined IVP in August 2019. He focuses on identifying and evaluating later-stage enterprise and consumer technology investments.

Karthik is actively involved with IVP portfolio companies Attentive, Checkr, Curology, GroundTruth, Hopin, MasterClass, Qubole, Skydio, Tanium, The Players’ Tribune, and ZEFR.

Prior to joining IVP, Karthik worked at Choosy, an early stage direct-to-consumer ecommerce startup disrupting the fast fashion industry, where he assisted the founders on numerous cross-functional projects across strategy, fundraising, operations, finance, marketing, and customer experience.

Karthik also worked in investment banking at Qatalyst Partners, advising clients across the consumer Internet, mobile, enterprise software, and hardware sectors. His transaction experience includes PillPack’s sale to Amazon, Cavium’s $6.7Bn sale to Marvell Technology, InvenSense’s $1.3Bn sale to TDK Corporation, and Lithium Technologies’ sale to Vista Equity Partners.

Karthik graduated Summa Cum Laude from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business, where he earned a double B.S. in Finance and Economics.
