Ana Tahira

Ana Tahira is a Technology Specialist at Instituto Butantan, specializing in bioinformatics and Data Science since March 2019. Prior to this role, Ana served as a Postdoc at the Institute of Psychiatry USP from April 2014 to March 2019. Ana obtained a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, conducting research on gene expression profiles in pancreatic adenocarcinoma, and previously undertook undergraduate research focusing on kidney cancer and environmental sample analysis at IPEN. Ana holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from USP, attained between 2003 and 2006.
