Melissa Fessel

Melissa Fessel is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in the field of biological sciences. Currently serving as a laboratory researcher at Instituto Butantan since August 2018, Melissa has also collaborated as a researcher at the Instituto de Biologia - Unicamp since December 2015. Previous roles include researcher positions at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein from 2017 to 2018 and at Centro Nacional de Pesquisa em Energia e Materiais from February 2014 to December 2015. Melissa Fessel earned a Doctorate in Biological Sciences with a focus on Biochemistry from USP - Universidade de São Paulo between 2001 and 2006, followed by a Postdoctoral fellowship in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology at Universidade Estadual de Campinas from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, Melissa holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, completed from 1996 to 1999.
