Gisele Paula has a diverse work experience, starting in 1999 as the Head of Marketing at Embracon Administradora de Consórcio Ltda. Gisele then co-founded Reclame Aqui in 2011 and served as the Co-founder and Director of B2B Relationships until 2019. In 2020, they became the CEO of Instituto Cliente Feliz and also joined ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing as a Professor of Customer Experience and Customer Success courses. Recently, in 2022, Gisele joined Money Times as a columnist.

Gisele Paula completed their education at two different institutions. Gisele pursued an MBA in Marketing from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, which they attended from 1999 to 2008. Later, they attended MIT Professional Education in 2022 and 2023, where they studied Leadership in Innovation, with a focus on Economics and Business Management.
