José Miguel Molina

Head of Risk at Instituto de Crédito Oficial

José Miguel Molina has a degree in Economic Sciences and Business from Universidad Complutense of Madrid, quantitative specialty, a Master in Financial Markets from the Instituto de Estudios Superior CEU, and PDD (Management Development Program) from IESE.

He initiated his professional activity in AEG and in Atlas Copco, entering the ICO as a technician in 1993. In the Instituto he has held different positions of responsibility, that is, Head of the Area of Project Finance, Head of the Area of Admissions, Head of the Risks Department, Assistant Director of Risks and Control, Assistant Director of Risks and Accounts and at present Assistant Director of Risks.

As Head of Risk, he has the responsibility of designing and proposing the internal risk policies and the analysis and management methodology as well as the follow-up of all of the risks of ICO, to evaluate the admissibility of the credit risk of the ICO. He is also in charge of the supervision of the adaptation in the ICO of national and international rules regarding risk.
