Rodolfo Oliveira

Rodolfo Oliveira is an experienced academic and researcher with extensive involvement in the field of electrical and computer engineering. Currently serving as the IEEE Portugal Section Chair and Vice-Chair since January 2020, Oliveira has been a professor at Universidade Nova de Lisboa since July 2009. Additionally, Oliveira has held research positions at Instituto de Telecomunicações and UNINOVA since January 2012 and 2003, respectively. Previous roles include a visiting scholar position at Carnegie Mellon University and a visiting researcher role at the University of Thessaly. Oliveira began a career in research assistance at Instituto de Sistemas e Robótica from 2000 to 2003. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a Master of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.
