Vicente Mayer Garção

Vicente Mayer Garção currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of LAMPSY - Invisible Seizure Detection since May 2024 and is also a Researcher PhD Student at the Instituto de Telecomunicações since September 2021. Prior to these roles, Vicente worked as a Writer and Cultural Department Collaborator for Diferencial, the student newspaper of IST, from February 2021 to December 2021. Vicente's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, expected to complete in August 2026, and a Master's degree in the same field, also from Instituto Superior Técnico, obtained in 2021. Additionally, Vicente participated in an Erasmus program in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at Technische Hochschule Lübeck from 2019 to 2020 and completed secondary education at Deutsche Schule Lissabon / Escola Alemã de Lisboa from 2008 to 2016.
