Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a background in developing collaborative solutions and educational technologies. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to the development of hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and flat panels, alongside other educational devices. Previous roles include firmware engineer at SMART Technologies, where firmware and diagnostic tools were developed, and electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, focusing on electronics design for educational programs. Additional experience includes serving as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary and working as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, where control systems for forestry equipment were developed. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.

Instituto Distrital de Recreación y Deporte - IDRD
El Instituto Distrital de Recreación y Deporte (IDRD) nació mediante el Acuerdo Nº 4 de 1978 del Concejo de Bogotá. Es un establecimiento público con personería jurídica, autonomía administrativa y patrimonio independiente, adscrito a la Secretaría de Cultura, Recreación y Deporte, y sujeto a las normas del derecho público. Tiene como misión promover la recreación, el deporte, el buen uso de los parques y el aprovechamiento del tiempo libre de todos los habitantes de Bogotá. Desde el Área de Promoción de Servicios se generan alianzas comerciales con empresas privadas con el fin de apoyar y financiar los eventos del Instituto. Allí se autoriza la presencia de marca de terceros en nuestros parque y eventos, y se facilita la gestión de adopción de parques.
