Judy Cavazos

Judy Cavazos, PhD, is currently working as a Behavioral Emergency Response Team (BERT) Clinician at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland, responsible for covering psychiatric evaluations in the Emergency Department and providing care to acute and critical care floors. Prior to this role, Judy held various positions at Instituto Familiar de la Raza, Oakes Children's Center, Ruth M Rothstein CORE Center, Children's Memorial Hospital, Family Shelter Services, Law Offices of Clancy, and Wisconsin State Public Defender. Judy holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The California School of Professional Psychology, a Master of Arts in Psychology and Clinical Counseling from The Chicago School, and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Criminology and Psychology from Marquette University.
