Sonia Batista

Sonia Batista has extensive experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving as Enfermeira Responsável de Serviço in Internal Medicine and as a docente at Instituto Politécnico de Portalegre since September 2022. Over the years at ULSNA, where employment began in August 1999, Sonia held various nursing roles in Urgency and Internal Medicine. In addition, Sonia has been the Diretora Técnica and Sócia Gerente at Clinica Avis Saúde since January 2019. Sonia's educational background includes a Doctorate in Psychology from Universidade da Extremadura and multiple degrees in nursing, mental health, human ecology, and specialized training in crisis interventions and forensic nursing. Further qualifications include a postgraduate degree in hospital and health unit management and pedagogical training for educators.
