Aja Ruff, M.S. has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. Aja has worked as a Talent and Recruitment Lead at Instruction Partners since 2023. Aja also has experience as a Licensed School Counselor for the Minneapolis Public Schools, where they led program activities and managed large-scale databases. Additionally, Aja has worked as a Barista at Starbucks and as a School Counselor Intern for Buffalo Public School System and Niagara Falls City School District. Earlier in their career, they served as a Lead Scheduling Coordinator for Deaf Access Services and as a Retail Sales Associate for OfficeMax. Aja started their career as a Shift Manager and Crew Member at Cold Stone Creamery, where they excelled in team management and customer service.
Aja Ruff, M.S. earned a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from Niagara University between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, Aja completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Social Sciences at the University at Buffalo from 2010 to 2015. Additionally, Aja has obtained various certifications, including Adult Mental Health First Aid USA from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in October 2023, and certifications in Human Resources, Strategic Human Resources, Learning Asana, and Technical Recruiting from LinkedIn in 2022.
