Laken Detchemendy

Laken Detchemendy currently serves as the Senior Director of Custom Strategy Consulting at Instruction Partners, having progressed through roles including Director and Associate Director of State Partnerships. Laken has been an Adjunct Lecturer at Johns Hopkins University School of Education since June 2016. Previous experience includes coordination and coaching positions in literacy with Baltimore City Public Schools, curriculum development and clinical faculty roles at Urban Teachers, and teaching assignments in Durham Public Schools and Prince George's County Public Schools. Laken holds a Master of Education from Meredith College and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Legal Studies from Virginia Tech.
