Vanessa B.

Vanessa B. is an experienced education professional with a strong background in instructional leadership and state partnerships. Currently serving as the Content Lead for State Partnerships at Instruction Partners since July 2022, Vanessa has successfully led initiatives to improve statewide math instruction, including support for multilingual learners, and developed webinars for multi-state collaboration. Prior to this role, Vanessa worked as an Education Associate at the South Carolina Department of Education, where responsibilities included facilitating the review of K-12 mathematics standards and coordinating teacher teams for curriculum alignment. Vanessa's diverse experience also includes serving as an Assistant Principal and instructional facilitator at Lexington School District Two, as well as working as a Lead Child Care Teacher at The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy. Vanessa holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration and a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina.
