Robert Williams is the President and CEO of Instructional Connections. Robert has over 25 years of experience in leadership roles in both the public and private sector.
Williams began their career in the United States Army, where they served for nine years as a Major. In 1993, they transitioned to the private sector, taking a position as the Director of Operations for the Port Authority of Allegheny County. Robert held this position for thirteen years before moving to EDMC in 2006, where they served as the Director of Academic Operations for three years.
In 2009, Williams joined Higher Ed Holdings (now Academic Partnerships) as the Vice President of Academic Support Services. Robert was responsible for facilitating online instructional delivery and academic support services for the company. Robert held profit and loss responsibility for a $3,400,000 budget with five direct reports and 156 indirect reports.
In 2010, Williams left Higher Ed Holdings to start their own company, Instructional Connections. The company provides online instructional delivery and academic support services to state colleges and universities across the United States.
Dr. Robert Williams holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Argosy University and a Master's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Duquesne University. Robert also holds a B.S.J. in Journalism from West Virginia University.
