Jim Bergstedt has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Associate General Counsel at Instructure since June 2020, following roles as Assistant General Counsel and Corporate Legal Counsel. Prior to Instructure, Jim held the position of Senior Legal Counsel at Ivanti from 2018 to 2020. Jim's earlier career includes a decade as Partner/Shareholder and Associate at Prince Yeates & Geldzahler, and prior experience as a Law Clerk/Associate at Epperson Rencher & Owens, as well as a Law Clerk in the Commercial Enforcement Division of the Utah Office of the Attorney General. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and dual Bachelor degrees in Accounting and German from the University of Utah.
