Josh Simpson has over 18 years of experience in software engineering and leadership roles across various companies. Since August 2013, Josh has held multiple positions at Instructure, including Director of Engineering, Canvas Engineering Manager, Engineering Team Lead, and Senior Software Engineer. Prior to Instructure, Josh worked as an Expert Hacker at Weather You Wear, contributing to Ruby and CoffeeScript development for a weather-related web application. Additional experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Alliance Health, Web Developer at Reno Gazette-Journal and QuinStreet, Senior Software Engineer at O'Connell & Gray, Lead Network Administrator at Aero-Graphics, and Contract Web Developer at NAI Commercial.
