Crystal Chou

Crystal Chou is an accomplished creative professional with extensive experience in design and leadership roles. Currently serving as Associate Creative Director at Instrument since May 2022, Crystal has contributed to notable projects for brands such as Nike, Jordan, Apple, and Stripe. Prior to this, Crystal held the position of Design Director at Hobby, engaging with clients like Hyundai, Pinterest, and Allbirds, among others. Crystal has also worked as a Senior Art Director at Stink Studios, an Art Director at Stitch Fix, and a Senior Designer at Allbirds and Hybrid Design Inc., with a portfolio that includes high-profile clients like the United Nations and TED. A blog contributor at Design Milk and an intern at various firms early in the career, Crystal's educational background includes an MFA in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art University and a BS in Information and Computer Science from UC Irvine.
