Alon Gildoni has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Alon is currently the VP of Product at Instruqt since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Mentor in Product Management and Leadership at Give & Tech starting from July 2022.
Before their current engagements, Alon worked at Mambu, a SaaS banking engine, where they held the positions of Director of Product from September 2020 to November 2022, and Head of Product, Payments & Daily Banking from October 2019 to September 2020. At Mambu, they contributed to the successful launch of new business ventures, transformed existing operations, and led the development of Payments modules and Daily Banking products.
Alon also has experience working at notable companies such as Booking.com, where they served as a Sr. Product Manager, Performance Marketing from October 2018 to October 2019. Alon played a key role in building and scaling a performance marketing platform and implementing customer journey enhancements resulting in increased organic traffic volume.
At Similarweb, Alon held the positions of Director of Product from August 2016 to September 2018, and Head of Growth and Sr. Product Manager from May 2015 to July 2016. Alon led product strategy and business line for multiple product teams, resulting in a significant increase in product CARR and visitor to lead conversion rate.
Earlier in their career, Alon worked at Medallia as a Solutions Engineer from October 2013 to May 2015 and as a Customer Success Manager from April 2012 to October 2013. Alon was responsible for strategic consulting, deployment, and optimization of customer experience management solutions.
Alon's work experience also includes a role as a Product Manager at Soluto from September 2010 to April 2012, where they supported the Chief Product Officer and collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop new products.
Prior to their career in the tech industry, Alon held leadership positions at OROT, a not-for-profit EdTech organization, where they served as COO from November 2008 to August 2010, and as a Regional Manager from March 2008 to January 2009. Alon was responsible for operational management, working closely with governmental offices and philanthropic organizations.
Before transitioning to the private sector, Alon worked as a Community Emissary at the World Zionist Organization from February 2007 to March 2008, and as a Commanding Officer in the Israeli Intelligence Service from August 2002 to January 2007.
Alon Gildoni has a diverse educational background with degrees and certifications in various fields. In 2009, they enrolled at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Musicology and Ethnomusicology, completing the program in 2011. During the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Philosophy - BaPhil from the same institution.
In 2014, Alon attended Adobe and completed an Advanced Reporting & Analytics training program, specializing in Data Processing and Data Processing Technology/Technician.
To further enhance their skills, Alon joined Netcraft Academy in 2017 to pursue a Product Design and User Experience course, specializing in UI/UX. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Adobe Analytics and Reports & Analytics User in June 2014, as well as SimilarWeb Market Intelligence Certification Fundamentals Course in November 2017.
Most recently, in 2021 and 2022, Alon attended the Harvard Business School for the Strategy Execution Executive Program.
