Beatriz Díaz de Escauriaza

Beatriz Díaz de Escauriaza has extensive experience in the intellectual property field. Beatriz worked as the Head of IP Legal at Insud Pharma starting in September 2019. Prior to this, they served as a Senior IP Counsel at Chemo from April 2017. From 2006 to 2017, they worked at Bird & Bird LLP as a Senior Associate in the IP Department, specializing in pharmaceutical patent litigation and unfair competition. Before that, they worked at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo in the Intellectual Property Group from June 2004 to February 2006, and at Garrigues in the Litigation and Arbitration Group from September 2001 to July 2003.

Beatriz Díaz de Escauriaza studied Law at Universidad Pontificia Comillas from 1996 to 2001. Beatriz later pursued a Master's degree in Industrial and Intellectual Property and Information Society from Universitat d'Alacant, which they completed in 2004.
