Cesar Quintana

Cesar Quintana has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Cesar started their career at Espacio Information Technology as a Manager of Software and Services Quality from 2001 to 2006. Cesar then moved on to Deloitte, S.L. as a Senior Consultant for a brief period in 2006. Later in 2006, they joined EY, where they held the roles of Manager Technology and Security Risk Services and Senior Manager IT Advisory Services until 2012. During their tenure at EY, Cesar managed the IT Advisory services in multiple locations and was responsible for IT Master Plan Projects. In 2012, they joined Avalora Tecnologías de la Información as the Global Chief Operations Officer, where they led the IT operations for the OHL Group, Fertiberia, and Ferroglobe. Cesar implemented various projects and managed IT integration for Ferroatlántica and Globe Specialty Metals. In 2015, Cesar became the Global Chief Information & Digital Officer at Grupo OHL, where they managed IT resources across 30+ countries and led a team of over 85 people. In 2018, they joined Insud Pharma as the Global IT & Digitalization Director (CIO), responsible for driving IT and digitalization initiatives. Cesar briefly worked at NTT DATA Europe & LATAM as an Executive Principal from 2022 to 2023. Currently, Cesar serves as the Global Transformation & Technology Director (CIO) at Insud Pharma. Alongside their professional roles, they have also been an Associate Teacher at CEU Business School and IE Business School, teaching IT and Digital topics.

Cesar Quintana has a diverse education history. In 1998-2004, they pursued a degree in Computer Engineering and Technical engineer in Business Computer Science from Universidad Pontificia Comillas. In 2005-2006, they attended IE Business School, specializing in Information System and Technologies Management. In 2014, they took the General Management Program (PDG) at IESE Business School. In 2018, they participated in the Digital Transformation & Data Science Program at the University of California, Berkeley. Most recently, in 2022, they completed the Programa para Consejeros (Board Member Course) at Esade, focusing on Business Administration and Management. Additionally, they hold certifications in Celonis Foundations and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA Madrid Chapter.
