Renato de Jesus

Renato De Jesus has been with The Insular Life Assurance Co., Ltd. since June 1996, serving as Chief Legal and Governance Officer and Corporate Secretary. In this role, Renato manages a legal team responsible for litigation and in-house legal consultancy, implements governance and compliance programs, and liaises with regulatory bodies such as the Office of the Insurance Commission. Additionally, Renato has held various key positions within the company since January 1985, including Chief Compliance Officer, Corporate Secretary, Chief Legal Counsel, Corporate Planning Analyst, and Senior Compensation Analyst. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics, both from the University of the Philippines Diliman, complemented by earlier education at the University of Santo Tomas.
