Stephen Ong

Stephen Ong is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the insurance and financial services industry. Currently serving as Executive Trustee on the Board of Directors at iCare and Executive Vice President & Chief Agency Officer at Insular Life Assurance Co., Ltd., Stephen previously held significant positions at Manulife Philippines, including Senior Vice President and Chief Distribution Officer, where notable achievements included leading the agency to become the third-ranking channel in the country and improving partnership contributions to company sales. Prior to Manulife, Stephen excelled at AXA Philippines, culminating in roles such as Zone Head and Sales Director, while also being recognized as the Financial Advisor of the Year for three consecutive years. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Santo Tomas.
