Denise Cohan

Denise Cohan has a diverse work experience across multiple industries. Denise began their career as the Director of Community Engagement at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where they worked from October 2003 to January 2013. Denise then transitioned into the insurance field, joining Aflac as an Independent Health Insurance Broker from March 2013 to September 2013. Denise further expanded their insurance expertise at Allstate, where they served as a Licensed Sales Associate from April 2015 to April 2016. Denise also gained experience in sales at International Plastics, working as an Inside Sales representative from March 2014 to February 2015. Denise currently holds a position at IAG - Insurance Applications Group, Inc., where they have taken on increasingly responsible roles. Denise started as a Renewals Coordinator from August 2016 to February 2019. Subsequently, they became the Renewals Manager for IAG Benefits from February 2019 to February 2023. Denise is currently serving as the Director of Renewals, which they started in February 2023.

Denise Cohan obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from Old Dominion University, which they completed in 1994. Prior to that, they attended Appalachian State University from 1974 to 1983, where they earned another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing/Marketing Management, General. Additionally, Denise acquired a certification in "Developing Your Emotional Intelligence" from LinkedIn in February 2020.
