With experience as a consultant at UMI Ltd. and in various operational roles including Director of Operations at Green Standards Ltd. and Director of Technology and Operations at SF Inc, Maroquine has a strong background in strategic management and operational efficiency. Early career experience includes roles at Stewart Title Guaranty Company and as a consultant at Private Business Venture, complemented by a research analyst position at the Rotman Research Institute at Baycrest. Maroquine Aziz earned an MBA in Strategy from Wilfrid Laurier University and a BSc in Computer Science specializing in Information Systems from the University of Toronto.

The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) is the national voice of property and casualty insurance brokers and an advocate for insurance consumers, representing their interests to the Government of Canada. IBAC also works to elevate the status of insurance brokers through professional development and by establishing improved standards of qualification and ethical practice. IBAC also maintains licensing courses and education programs for brokers.
