Hussain Fakhruddin

Hussain Fakhruddin has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Hussain is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at InsuranceMarket.ae™ By AFIA Insurance Brokerage Services LLC since October 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Advisor at Propelex starting in January 2020. In 2019, they founded their own company, Qualascend, where they held the role of Founder & CTO, providing technology and consultancy services to startups and SMEs in the E-commerce and Insurance industries. Before founding Qualascend, they served as a Technical Advisor at The Art Store in 2019. From 2015 to 2019, Fakhruddin worked at yallacompare as the CTO, leading agile engineering teams and implementing cutting-edge technologies. Hussain also held the position of Head of Technology at ME Digital Group in 2015. Prior to that, they were the Head of Technology at Cobone from 2010 to 2014, where they played a significant role in the company's growth and the launch of their travel platform, Safarna. Before joining Cobone, they worked at Dubai Customs as a Module Lead from 2007 to 2010 and at Namtra Business Solutions as a Tech Lead from 2006 to 2007. Fakhruddin started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at JS Investments in 2005.

Hussain Fakhruddin completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET) from 2002 to 2005. Hussain also obtained additional certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2019, Professional Scrum Master from Scrum.org in 2013, and Object Oriented Analysis and Design from IBM in 2005.
