Halley Cruz, PhD, MBus has a long and diverse work experience. Halley began their career in 2007 as a Fitness Leader at My Gym Children's Fitness Center, followed by a Personal Trainer, Group Exercise Instructor, and Wellness Coach at YMCA. In 2008, they became a Golf & Recreation Manager at Hilton, and in 2009 they were a Promotional Ambassador at The Active Network and a Medical Liaison at Competitor Group. In 2011, they were a Client Service Representative at Allianz Global Assistance. From 2012 to 2016, they were a PhD Candidate, Research Assistant, Sessional Lecturer, and Tutor at Griffith University, followed by a Lecturer at Loughborough University from 2016 to 2019. Since 2019, they have been the Executive Vice President and Vice President of Recruitment at Insure National, where they specialize in the recruitment and placement of qualified individuals in the Insurance Industry.

Halley Cruz, PhD, MBus has an extensive education history. Halley completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Sport Management from Griffith University between 2013 and 2016. Prior to that, they obtained their Master of Business with Honours in Sport Management from Griffith University between 2011 and 2012. Halley also holds a BS Kinesiology in Fitness, Nutrition & Health from San Diego State University, which they obtained between 2003 and 2007.
