Jelani Fenton

Jelani Fenton is the Founder and CEO of Safari. Jelani has over eight years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to Safari, they were an investment banking associate at Evercore in their Global Insurance Group. Jelani also worked as a summer associate at Evercore and as an assistant vice president at Marsh in their Global Risk Management Casualty group. Jelani began their career as a financial accounting intern at Transatlantic Reinsurance and Chartis. Jelani is a graduate of Howard University and has a master’s degree in business administration from Columbia Business School.

Jelani Fenton received their MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Jelani also holds a Bachelor's in Economics from the University of Maryland and a degree in Economics from Fudan University. Jelani is currently a candidate for the Certified Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation from The Institutes.
