Nicolás Franco

Nicolás Franco has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Nicolás started their career in 1998 at Canal 11 Sauce Cable Color, where they worked as an Editor for eight years. In 2007, they joined Europhoto S.A. as a Service Técnico, providing technical support until 2021. During this time, Nicolás also worked at Bodega La Carolina as an Administrativo, handling stock control, truck loading and unloading, accounting, and customer database management. Currently, they are employed by Inswitch as a Network Operations Center Engineer, a position they have held since August 2021.

Nicolás Franco has a diverse education history with a focus on technology and audiovisual arts. In 1993, they attended the Instituto Schubert and completed a degree in Profesorado de Piano, specializing in piano teaching. In 1996, they also studied at CCS and obtained a degree in Operador P.C.

In 1997, Nicolás attended the Primer centro de la imagen y la palabra, where they specialized in Edición en Video Tape. Nicolás also completed courses at CCS and received degrees in Operador Windows 98 in 1999, Operador Windows 95 in 1998, and Operador P.C. Windows in 1997.

Nicolás pursued further education in technology and audiovisual arts. In 2001, they studied Edición fotográfica at ORT and Reparación PC at _. In 2002, they completed two degrees at Universidad ORT Uruguay, one in Operador en animación PC and another in Técnico en Animación Digital. In 2003, they studied Diseño Web at Círculo informático, and in 2004, they obtained a degree in Diseño gráfico from the same institution.

Continuing their education in programming, Nicolás attended Bios in 2013 and 2014, where they studied Programador Web.NET. In 2015, they pursued a degree in Programación PHP at BIOS Escuela de Sistemas.

In 2017, Nicolás attended A+ Escuela de Artes Visuales and specialized in Postproducción y efectos especiales. In 2019, they studied Técnico en Sonido at Stratta.

Most recently, in 2021, Nicolás enrolled at IFOE Instituto de la formación en oficios del espectáculo and studied Visuales interactivas.

In addition to their formal education, Nicolás has also obtained certifications in cybersecurity. In 2021, they completed courses at Coursera in Network Security & Database Vulnerabilities, Cybersecurity Roles, Processes & Operating System Security, Cybersecurity Compliance Framework & System Administration, and Introduction to Cybersecurity Tools & Cyber Attacks.
